  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • 2 onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 tomatoes (large, finely chopped)
  • salt (to taste)

    Directions

    1. 1. In a large bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 cup of yogurt, and the cubed chicken.
    2. 2. Mix well and cover with plastic wrap - put into the fridge to marinate for a few hours or over night
    3. 3. In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and saute onions until golden brown
