Hmm....I had some issues with these. First, 450 is way too hot. They were completely burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. I think the problem may have been the pan. The recipe says to use an 8 inch square, but you can clearly see in the photos that the author is not using a square pan. It seems closer to a 13x9. That is probably why mine were too thick to cook properly.
I LOVE salt. Nothing is ever too salty for me, but even I found the amount of salt in these a little hard to take.
The buttery crust on top was really the only edible part, and that was pretty good. I might try again with some adjustments. Thank you.

I have made these buiscits probably four or five different times they are wonderful!!!! I love them!!!!

Oh for goodness sake...these are incredible!!! My husband
couldn't believe they were biscuits!!! They are decadent....
and for the holiday company a real treat is in store. Thank you
for the ultimate luxury biscuit. Oh yes, I used half and half, one and 3/4 cup because if your gonna be bad...BE REALLY BAD!!!
