Brussel Sprout Soup with Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram brussels sprouts
  • 500 grams carrots (peeled and cut into sticks)
  • 800 grams potatoes (peeled and cut into cubes)
  • 500 grams ham (diced)
  • 2 liters vegetable stock
  • 1 pinch grated nutmeg

Directions

  1. Cut a cross in the base of each Brussel sprout. Bring the vegetable stock to a boil in a saucepan. Add the sprouts, carrots, potatoes and ham and cook for 20 mins. Season to taste and add the nutmeg.
