- 1 kilogram brussels sprouts
- 500 grams carrots (peeled and cut into sticks)
- 800 grams potatoes (peeled and cut into cubes)
- 500 grams ham (diced)
- 2 liters vegetable stock
- 1 pinch grated nutmeg
- Cut a cross in the base of each Brussel sprout. Bring the vegetable stock to a boil in a saucepan. Add the sprouts, carrots, potatoes and ham and cook for 20 mins. Season to taste and add the nutmeg.
