Description

Brownies without the box. You can dress these brownies up anyway you like, dusting them, frosting them, or eating them plain. The walnuts add a hearty crunch and a unique flavor to the chocolate. The hardest part is waiting for them to come out of the oven.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams chocolate
  • 200 grams butter
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 80 grams walnuts (chopped and toasted)
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 Celsius.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler. Add the sugar little by little, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and cool. Gently fold in the eggs. Stir in the flour and walnuts.
  4. Pour the batter into a baking pan and bake for 20 minutes, until firm.
