Description

You cannot go wrong with brownies, especially when they are fudgy like these. Pecans lend their rich flavor and crunch to this recipe, adding something a little extra to the classic. Enjoy them fresh out of the oven with some cold milk or pack them in tomorrow's lunch for a mid-day pick-me-up!

Ingredients

  • 200 grams chocolate
  • 120 grams melted butter
  • 120 grams brown sugar
  • 60 grams flour
  • 100 grams pecans (or walnuts)
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. 2Melt the chopped chocolate in a water bath.
  3. 3Meanwhile, whisk the eggs with the sugar.
  4. 4Add the melted butter, followed by the chocolate.
  5. 5Finally, add the flour, and coarsely chopped walnuts.
  6. 6Pour into a buttered mold.
  7. 7Bake for 20-25 minutes -- the blade of a knife must come out clean.
