Description

You cannot go wrong with brownies, especially when they are fudgy like these. Pecans lend their rich flavor and crunch to this recipe, adding something a little extra to the classic. Enjoy them fresh out of the oven with some cold milk or pack them in tomorrow's lunch for a mid-day pick-me-up!

Ingredients

200 grams chocolate
120 grams melted butter
120 grams brown sugar
60 grams flour
100 grams pecans (or walnuts)
2 eggs

Directions

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2Melt the chopped chocolate in a water bath.
3Meanwhile, whisk the eggs with the sugar.
4Add the melted butter, followed by the chocolate.
5Finally, add the flour, and coarsely chopped walnuts.
6Pour into a buttered mold.
7Bake for 20-25 minutes -- the blade of a knife must come out clean.
