It was really sweet may have to cut back on the brown sugar Though I also doubled the recipe. Other was was simple and quick to make after getting the butter to a nutty brown color!

They turned out okay in my opinion. My little sisters thought they were absolutely delicious though. I thought they were a bit too buttery for my liking and very oily. But I might make this again some time soon. Also the recipe said that these were suppose to be a batter and I ended up with dough, don’t know what happened. Also, when the butter is melting, for a few minutes it doesn’t seem to brown at all, then almost suddenly it browns very quickly and keeps browning even after it’s off the heat. Just a caution since I burnt the butter the first time because of this.

Absolutely delicious! Not overly sweet and perfectly buttery. I doubled the batch and baked it in a buttered 9x9 pan lined with parchment paper. Followed the recipe exactly EXCEPT that I didn't realize that I had to mix the melted butter with the sugar and I mistakenly mixed it with the flour. I then mixed the sugar with the eggs and then with the flour mixture. Still perfect. They look exactly like the picture. Will make again!

They turned out great! I doubled the recipe, and made them in a 13x9 pan. Double the goodness! 😋 I'll definitely make these again!
