  • 12 apricots halved (ripe, and pitted)
  • 6 nectarines (ripe, halved and pitted)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese (or whipped cream or vanilla ice cream)
  • 6 Amaretti Cookies (crushed)

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler to high. Place apricots and nectarines, cut-side up, on a foil-lined shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar. Broil until softened and browned.
  2. Serve fruit drizzles with pan juices. Top with mascarpone and sprinkle with amaretti.
