It was okay, but nothing spetacular. it lacked... substance and flavor. I think adding in potatoes or something next time would be a good idea. Overall, I like it.

I added celery and velveeta as well as red pepper flakes... I raised the liquid amounts by 1 cup..it turned out amazing.

I made a double batch and it was delicious. The only changes I made to the recipe are that I creamed it using an immersion blender before adding the cheese, and I used pre-grated cheddar cheese instead of grating my own. The cheese melted fine and the soup turned out great,
