It was AMAZEBALLS! This is the first of many broccoli cheese soup recipes I’ve tried that DID NOT turn grainy after I added the cheese! I have been trying and trying to find one that tackled this problem. I used only cheddar cheese, and not grainy at all!! This one is PERFECTION!

Delicious. I added Parmesan cheese instead of Swiss. I put half the broccoli in and then used the immersion blender then added the rest so that there wasn’t as much full broccoli florets. Will make this regularly. Thanks!

I didnt have swiss so i added more sharp cheddar and it was so good! And such a simple recipe even i didnt screw it up and thats saying a lot! Lol

Tasty! I used vegetable broth as that is what I had on hand. I also added two cloves of minced garlic when softening the onions. Easy and simple but full of flavor! Even my picky 5 year old daughter loved it! I’ll be making a double batch next time.

This is a good base recipe. It came together in about 30 minutes with everything being warm when combined. I added a few carrots into the chicken stock with the onions and some frozen spinach in with the broccoli. Next time, I’ll keep the additional veggies, but might add some minced garlic to the stock, as salt and pepper weren’t quite enough flavor for me. If you’ve never made a broccoli cheese soup before, this is a good first recipe to try!

My kids are super picky eaters and all 3 ate this up like it was nobodies business!!! We dip some bread in the soup too, so good! I'm not much of a chef so I struggle to juggle all of the steps but other than that its super easy to make, really tasty and doesn't require a bunch of odd ingredients.

Found this recipe to be quite easy. I added a little bit more of the cheese because I’m cheese lover lol. This goes well with some French bread.
