I didnt have swiss so i added more sharp cheddar and it was so good! And such a simple recipe even i didnt screw it up and thats saying a lot! Lol

Tasty! I used vegetable broth as that is what I had on hand. I also added two cloves of minced garlic when softening the onions. Easy and simple but full of flavor! Even my picky 5 year old daughter loved it! I’ll be making a double batch next time.

This is a good base recipe. It came together in about 30 minutes with everything being warm when combined. I added a few carrots into the chicken stock with the onions and some frozen spinach in with the broccoli. Next time, I’ll keep the additional veggies, but might add some minced garlic to the stock, as salt and pepper weren’t quite enough flavor for me. If you’ve never made a broccoli cheese soup before, this is a good first recipe to try!

My kids are super picky eaters and all 3 ate this up like it was nobodies business!!! We dip some bread in the soup too, so good! I'm not much of a chef so I struggle to juggle all of the steps but other than that its super easy to make, really tasty and doesn't require a bunch of odd ingredients.

Found this recipe to be quite easy. I added a little bit more of the cheese because I’m cheese lover lol. This goes well with some French bread.

Very good flavor but not as thick as I was hoping for. I doubled the recipe so maybe that had something to do with it. I also only used 1/2 of a med/lg white onion and that was plenty! I have made this recipe before and will make it again!

This soup is so yummy!! I made a few changes. I used half the amount of onion, white pepper instead of black, all sharp cheddar cheese and added ham and bacon. Its so flavorful and perfect for a cold winter day.

second time making this soup and it came out much better this time around! we couldn't get enough of it. They key is using a small white onion or half a large one, extra sharp cheddar, and the right size saucepots. I only had extra sharp cheddar on me and used for the whole 1 3/4 cups cheese.

good and quick. there are no instructions on how to do cook the brocoli, i had to google it. the taste was good, except it tasted too much like onions. Also be careful when mixing the flour and butter, it doesnt disolve very well.

First time making this recipe and it was so easy. I added shredded Jalapeno cheese as well as it gave it a nice bite to it without being overly spicy. I ended up having to add more milk to make a thinner consistency. Really wonderful recipe and I will be making it again!

This is the first broccoli cheddar soup that I have made. As far as I can tell it was a success. My kids loved it! I used low-fat milk but I have heard that if you want a richer soup you can use whole milk or half and half. I used sharp cheddar cheese and Colby Jack.

My first few times making this were a disaster, so you really need to follow the directions clearly! Other than that, the soup tastes amazing! I highly recommend it. I usually pair it with a baguette and a salad, and it's a great lunch or dinner.
