Description

A sweet yeast roll that is the perfect accompaniment to a morning cup of coffee or egg dish or that can be served with other meals. Small enough to grab one on the go or to tear apart for a light afternoon snack these rolls are a must make for all bread lovers.

Ingredients

150 grams milk
1 pinch salt
50 grams sugar
50 grams margarine
3 egg yolks
1/2 yeast (pouch)
400 grams flour
1 egg yolks (for dusting)

Directions

1Place in the cup the milk, salt, sugar and margarine and schedule 1 min., 37º C, speed 2.
2Add the egg yolks and yeast and set 10 sec. speed 2.
3Add flour and scheduling 1 min. spike speed.
4Shape small balls with the dough and place them on the baking tray sprinkled with a little flour.
5Brush the top with egg yolk and bring to a pre-heated oven at 50ºC for 20 minutes to double in volume.
6Then increase the temperature to 180ºC for about 25 minutes.
7Serve still hot with butter.
