  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 tablespoon cayenne
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (Granolated)
  • 1 tablespoon onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon ground pepper (Fresh)
  • 2 quarts water
  • 1/2 cup salt (Course, or, 1 Cup Reg Salt)
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 4 pounds boneless chicken breast (may substitute pork chops)

    Directions

    1. Place ingredients in plastic Ziplock bag and soak for 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours.
    2. Remove meat from bag and drain off excess brine.
    3. Coat meat with Olive Oil
    4. Place meat on the grill and sear each side for 2-3 minutes, then move meat to the other side of the grill and cover them. Leave for 15-20 minutes. (Tug on meat 2-3 times occasionally to keep them from sticking to the grill.)
