No need to run to the bakery with this simple recipe for Bread Rolls for Snacks. Made with just four simple ingredients, these bread rolls are fluffy and have a lovely crust. Make the bread dough the day before you plan on baking these rolls in order to let the dough rest and rise.

Ingredients

  • 610 grams bread flour
  • 410 grams water
  • 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 10 grams salt

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix 100 grams flour, 100 grams water, and the yeast. Let it ferment, until frothy.
  2. Add the rest of the flour, water, and salt. Knead by hand for 1 to 2 minutes and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Repeat until the gluten has developed.
  3. Shape into a ball and placed in a greased bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  4. The following day, preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius.
  5. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and knead for 1 minute.
  6. Divide dough into 10 portions. Shape each portion into a rectangle and form the bun wrapping and sealing well. Place the rolls on a linen cloth with a dusting of flour. Then cover with plastic or a damp cloth.
  7. Heat the oven to 250 degrees. Bake 15 minutes at 250 degrees.
