    Loved how the custard turned out. I added cinnamon to the recipe & it worked well with the nutmeg (of course). I did think there was WAY more sugar than was needed, but I’m not sure if adding less will cause the custard to turn out differently. Added just a 1/2 tsp of salt to the mix to balance the sweetness, but was still too sweet. Will adjust for less sugar next time & will hopefully be 5 stars! (Also, didn’t make the sauce. This is strictly for the pudding recipe.)
