Ingredients

  • 500 milliliters milk
  • 300 grams bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 150 grams flour
  • 100 grams cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup pinenuts
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins (soaked in rum)
  • 10 amaretti biscuits (crushed)
  • ground cinnamon
  • powdered sugar

Directions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
  2. 2Soak the bread in the milk for 2 to 3 hours and mash into a pulp.
  3. 3Add the eggs, sugar, flour, cocoa powder, pine nuts, raisins, biscuits, and a pinch of cinnamon. Mix well until smooth. If mixture appears too dry, add a little milk.
  4. 4Pour into a greased springform pan.
  5. 5Bake for 1 hour.
  6. 6Allow to cool and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
