Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sausage (bratwurst)
  • potatoes (4 med.)
  • carrots (2 med.)
  • onion (1 sm.)
  • cabbage (1/2 head med.)

Directions

  1. Cook bratwurst, covered for 20 minutes; brown, drain.
  2. Peel and quarter potatoes, carrots and onions.
  3. Cube cabbage.
  4. Place potatoes, carrots and onion in large pot; cover with water.
  5. Layer cabbage and sausage on top.
  6. Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes or until potatoes are cooked.
  7. Serves 4.
