I have made these a few times. Nephews and niece loves them. Never happens. Love the cumin!

Very tasty. Had it as a sloppy Joe though. Not sure if it was me or the recipe but it certainly didn't form a burger..

Fantastic! they aren't dry or too "beany". the perfect delicious option if you want some protein, but also want something light.

It was very good and filling. Cook slowly so it will stick together. Added seasonings like paprika, chili powder and creole seasoning. Also added a little liquid smoke,

Delicious! Doesnt need as much salt as the recipe says though. Ill probably cut back a little on the salt next time

They weren’t spicy at all I would add more seasoning

The flavor was great but the consistency did not hold up when cooking

A bit tricky in a blender as ingredients are quite dry and don't often mix properly. I found it worked better with a hand blender. I used grounded chia seeds as I had no flax seeds, it worked a treat. I'd advise to put quite a bit of oil in the pan. Results are amazing though, really lovely burgers!!

Everyone in my family liked this burger. Even my non-vegan eaters! Thanks for Sharing!

These are good but a little bland. They held together well. I think I will do what Shelly did and add some red onion with avocado. .Chipotle mayo is really good with these. I make them every week.

The burger was delicious, but I skipped the flax which I assume is a thickener so mine were sort of flat. I tossed onto my Foreman grill (to keep from flipping) as they would definitely have fallen apart. I also cooked until somewhat crispy to allow the mix to hold with a crust of sorts. Good taste; maybe next time I'll go for the flax add-on at about $8 a jar 😩

Amazing, hubby loved it. Will be a regular from now on. Definitely beats the store brought burgers and cheaper!

Great taste, but ours were not held together very well. If we make them again, I'd add more panko. Make sure you get the pan nice and hot so they are crispy!

These burgers are delish!!! I followed the recipe exactly for the burgers, then added grilled red onions on top with the avocado.... it's soo good!!

I made this with canned black beans and found it a bit mushy but tasty so I decided to use dry beans that I soaked and cooked myself, problem solved wow these are fantastic and I swear if you fed these to meat eaters and did not tell them they were eating beans they would not know the difference the flavours are wonderful and so easy to make as well I have made these several times and have become a favourite in my houseI

L-O-V-E this recipe!! Followed the directions exactly, save for substituting the bread crumbs with organic coconut flour. Came out perfectly. =)

My boyfriend gave this 6 out of 5 stars :P He couldn't speak because it was so delicious. I made it with corn meal instead of ground flax to thicken the paste

The taste is ok, but the consistency of the mix is way too sloppy to make a burger out of it! My husband didn't care for it. Maybe I'll use the leftovers of the mix for filling enchilada's instead.

Currently my favorite veggie burger to make. Relatively easy and SO delicious!!! Our blender won't mix all the ingredients so we much mash it together. Just be careful when you flip and they won't break. And DON'T forget the avocado!
Benjamin L. 22 Mar 2016
Terrible! Either I didn't read the instructions right or something but they wouldn't stay together. I might try it again but for now I'll stick to ground turkey and beef.

These black bean burgers turned out great for my boyfriend and I. I thought that they may turn out a bit bland or too spicy, but I was surprised by their taste! It's a great alternative to veggie burgers and will definitely use this recipe again.

I have always eaten veggies burgers from the frozen food department in the grocery store, and had them at burger joints in town. I have always wanted to try my own homemade and this looks like an easy and delicious one. Thanks, I'll be trying it and let you know how it goes!

This was my first black bean recipe to try. It turned out great and delicious! It's super easy to make for beginners like myself and it's a quick dinner to put together.

Love it, my boyfriend loved every piece of it. Great for a relax weekend 😉 ingredients are perfect, portion size amazing. Quick and delish
