  • 3 tablespoons molasses (or more to taste - I used slightly more)
  • 2 teaspoons salt (optional)

  • 2 teaspoons ground mustard
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (or barbecue sauce - I use barbecue sauce)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (or up to 1/2 cup)
