  • 2/3 cup sugar

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup coconut flakes (sweetened or unsweetened)
  • 2 cups heavy cream (very cold)
  • 5 tablespoons powdered sugar (depending on how sweet you want it)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • 3/8 cup coconut chips (I used Dang coconut chips)
