Ingredients

  • 400 grams ground veal
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 100 grams parmesan cheese (grated)
  • oregano
  • ground black pepper
  • 100 grams blue cheese

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground veal, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of oregano and ground black pepper.
  2. With your hands, form a flat hamburger.
  3. Place some blue cheese in the center of the hamburger.
  4. Form another flat hamburger and place on top of the first one. Pinch to seal.
  5. Grill and serve.

I love stuffed hamburgers, and I love this recipe. You simply must try it. I didn’t use ground veal, just plain old ground chuck in mine. Everything turned out wonderful, and the blue cheese gave it the amazing flavor it needed.
