Ingredients

  • 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)
  • 3 ounces blue cheese (cut into 24 pieces)
  • 2 slices prosciutto (thinly sliced)
  • 1 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup cream
  • honey (to drizzle, optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease 2 x 12-hole mini muffin pans.
  2. Using a 2 inch cutter, cut pastry into 24 rounds. Ease pastry into pans, folding to fit recesses. Place a piece of cheese and prosciutto in each.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk egg and cream together. Season to taste. Pour into recesses.
  4. Bake puffs 12-15 minutes, until puffed and golden. Serve warm, drizzled with honey if liked.
