This was a pretty good recipe. I did not have all the ingredients mentioned in the recipe but it still came out pretty good. For instance, my marinade was only soy sauce and brown sugar and I did not use any ginger. So you can modify the recipe and still get good results.

It was good for a basic recipe when I don't have a lot of oyster sauce for example. But I prefer to marinade my steak in the black pepper so it spreads more consistently and has more of a kick to it. Not just spiciness but you bite into the steak and you know it's pepper steak. I soaked some rib eye in the fridge for at least 4-6 hours too so the taste could go throughout the meat. I think the best pepper steak I've made hands down has to be the youtuber Phillyboyjaycookingshow "the best pepper steak".
I'll keep this at a 4 star. I enjoyed making this more than eating this, I love the creativity of adding sesame oil and Worcestershire sauce too or I probably wouldn't have tried this. But I probably wont' make this again unless I was in an absolute rush to feed a bunch of people.
