I am not sure I should review this as I altered the recipe a lot. Used a smoked ham ck, added canned turnip green. We Needed To ad rice because the ham hock was y salty. The ham hock was grisly in spite of close inspects for gristle. We would make it again with ham pieces. Cornbread would be a great addition.
