Description

These no bake cookie balls are quick and easy. Combining the butteriness of shortbread with the nuttiness of almonds, these cookie balls are a hit with kids. Easiest to mix with an electric mixer, but can be made by hand--you will just need a little extra effort!

Ingredients

  • 2 packages crackers (Maria, or shortbread biscuits)
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 100 grams margarine (melted)
  • 125 grams sliced almonds
  • almonds (to decorate)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 eggs

Directions

  1. Break the the biscuits into pieces and reduce them to flour, in a blender, or crush with a rolling pin.
  2. Add all ingredients except the egg, and mix well.
  3. Add the egg and stir well with a wooden spoon, or an electric mixer until dough is homogeneous.
  4. Place the dough on a plate, and refrigerate for a few minutes. Or freeze if you are in hurry. Form small balls, and decorate with almonds to taste.
  5. Place in small paper molds and refrigerate until serving.
