1 box chocolate cake mix (storebought)
312 milliliters water
125 milliliters oil
3 eggs
125 grams mascarpone
200 grams chocolate
brittle (praline)


1Preheat the oven to 350 F.
2In a medium bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs.
3Mix well.
4Line a cake pan with parchment paper and pour in the batter.
5Bake for about 45 minutes. Then turn off the oven but leave the cake inside.
6Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
7When chocolate is melted, mix with the mascarpone.
8Set aside
9Once the cake is cold, cut into two layers.
10Spread half of the mascarpone-chocolate cream on one layer.
11Sprinkle with half of the praline brittle
12Place second cake layer on top and frost the cake with remaining cream.
13Sprinkle with remaining praline brittle.
