Turned out really good! I used melted butter, salt & ground pepper, and added a small amount of onion powder and they were delicious.

I love this recipe as a base then I recommend adding the your fixings of choice. I added fresh rosemary, dill, turmeric and queso fresco to the potatoes, as well as grilled garlic and onions.

the inside of the potato wasnt very crisp. while cooked, it just wasnt crisp enough without burning it. definitely took more than the described time.

Not awful but not "better than fries". The very outer slices were the best, and closest to fries in terms of crispiness. The very inner slices actually tasted a little undercooked.

This was ok, but overrated. It sure didn't live up to the hype. I like the idea of it though. I'll see if the next batch turns out better.

I’m don’t know about “better than fries”, but it is good if you know how to season a baked potato. The recipe is really general and leaves a lot up to the chef, so basically all you get here is a basic ingredients list and the idea to slice a potato thinly. In the future I’d probably wrap in foil so the butter/oil doesn’t just run off into the pan. My wife said she would like it better if it were more in a traditional baked potato shape so she could put some toppings inside.... less messy. I liked the slices but it seems like more of an aesthetic decision than one based on flavor.

I cooked them for about an hour and 15 and they still could've been cooked a bit more. Kinda boring.

not sure how expected them to come out but i roasted them for an hour on 400 and when they came out the skin was crispy and the potato part was not. maybe i just screwed up the recipe, the instructions were a bit skimpy. i wasn't a fan but my mom liked them!

Put these in the oven and they came out so crispy! The ingredients are so simply and it was so easy to make! They came out of the oven very crunchy which my boyfriend loved. Will definitely make these again.

Needed a quick side to go with my stuff salmon came across this recipe better than fries bake potatoes had all the ingredients and it became a hit with the family and I didn't have to be in the kitchen all day and it is a very healthy meal . I loved it. I give it 5 star *****
