This stew was great. I followed it loosely by using a red onion, using more tomato sauce, 900ml of beef stock, and cooking in the pressure cooker instead of a slow cook. The whole family enjoyed it!

Best beef stew I've had in quite a while. I used the full 4 cups of beef broth (as that is the normal size in stores) without additional modification to the recipe.

wonderful! very tasty. I only used half of the flour so the broth wouldn't be to thick.

SOOOO GOOD! Best beef stew I’ve ever had! I had 5 garlic bulbs instead of 3 because I love me some garlic!

Pretty good! Needed a bit more flavor but that was probably my fault for choosing low sodium broth. Very yummy though!

Pretty good basic stew, but would recommend finding your own way to spice it up

Made this tonight for dinner was very tasty but had too much Italian seasoning. Next time I make it I won’t be putting that much in

So fragrant and tasty. I put it together the night before and plugged in the slow cooker when I left for work. I could smell the aroma of the beef stew in my garage! The taste was just as good as the smell. It will be a dish we make again

I cooked it in my instant pot for an hour and a half and it turned out awesome.

Tender chunks of Chuck Roast, flavorful and pretty simple to prepare and cook. I tasted the broth after several hours of cooking and adjusted the seasoning to my preference. It is the perfect dish on a cold winter day. Definitely comfort food!

Yum! It’s just my husband and me, so I like to make meals that are adaptable. I made this as (1) a roast tonight, (2) beef stew to make tomorrow - cut up the veggies and most of the beef and stored the juice separately after dinner, and (3) sandwiches for lunch - shredded the rest of the beef. I used one can of veggie broth for the roast, and will add peas and a little flour to thicken for the stew tomorrow, and then use a little horseradish sauce for the sandwiches. This was a really easy recipe for the flavor and versatility. We will definitely be smelling up the house again with this slow cooker gem!

We love beef stew and hoped this would be a great recipe, and it was! We added extra beef stock, extra peas (to empty their containers) and some leftover celery (again, just to get rid of it) and it was fabulous.

Was delicious, We dont eat peas or carrots so I put mushrooms and corn in instead. Was really good. Also cooked on high for 4 hours instead of low for 8 hours. the meat was so tender.

It was delish 😀 will definitely make it again the only thing I did different was substitute mixed veggies for the peas and carrots.
