Great, except I over baked them a few minutes. They still tasted delicious, and my house smelled like a donut shop!

Turned out good! I used small muffin tins and made brownie bites. I’d say 25 minutes would be perfect, I did about 28 minutes and they would have benefited from coming out a couple earlier. Good cocoa rich flavor, fluffy, and not too sweet. Good crunch on the top and I dusted with powdered sugar.

Best brownie recipe ever. Turns out the same — delicious — every time. Crispy bottom and sides, shiny crackly top, dense chocolate center. Not cake-y and not gooey. Perfect.

My boyfriend said they were the best brownies he’s ever had!

It has a strange taste to it but it’s clearly chocolate. It’s strong and something you’d definitely eat with hot chocolate or milk.
Edie Bisby 13 Nov 2018
This recipe is really good I added a 1/2 of chocolate morsels because my family loves chocolate. This left the brownies very moist and delicious!

Too much cocoa, too bitter, but the consistency is good!

Follow recipe exact and found them to be kind of muddy. They were ok and quick to make

My go-to brownie recipe, Always a hit. Bakes about ten to fifteen minutes longer for me but I live in the mountains. I also love Deb’s “Favorite Brownies” if I have baking chocolate on hand instead of cocoa or if I want them even fudgier. These are the fudgiest cocoa brownies I’ve ever witnessed. Not to be missed!

Was perfect I was finally able to accomplish making a favourite closely to my husbands step mothers own. Will be using this recipe again. ❤️

I substituted avocado for butter, the batter was a little chunky due to the avocado but tastes great!

Great cookies, little too much cocoa, but great
Iva Kuehnel 15 Jun 2018
really good. change the vanilla for vanilla sugar and reduced the amount of sugar a bit, also used almonds instead of walnuts.

kids loved making them and eating them
Mattie Malv 8 Jun 2018
used sweetened dark cocao instead. worked really well with this recipe. also, the recommendation for an extra 10 minutes is actually a key factor into giving the brownies a more cake-like texture
CunningHomeChef 27 May 2018
The chocolate was very over powering but the texture turned out alright.
Barb 20 May 2018
I reduced the butter using coconut oil instead. They were nice and chocolate tasting.

These were easy to make and made my kiddos happy! I added 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips.
Don Halpaus 20 Apr 2018
Brownies turned out great! I replaced half the sugar with Stevia. I do agree with cooking time recommendation in the instructions. 25 minutes is not long enough, another 10 minutes is perfect!
Lori F. 19 Apr 2018
they were delicious!
Jessy P. 16 Jan 2018
Gone in 60 seconds! They were delicious moist and so chocolatey!

Pretty well I just need perfect the moistness
Amanda Crout 4 Apr 2017
These are great as another reviewer mentioned, I used my 10.25" cast iron skillet and baked at 325 for 30 min
Tabitha Farnsworth 1 Apr 2017
These are my absolute favorite brownies, and they just happen to be incredibly easy to make with ingredients I almost always have on hand.
Angela R. 27 Mar 2017
My family loved these brownies! I will definitely make them again. I used a cast iron frying pan instead of a baking pan; the pan was sprayed with cooking spray and dusted with the cocoa powder. I wanted to make sure the brownies did not stick to the pan and they came out perfect! This recipe is a keeper.
