- Cut the onion into 1-inch thick wedges. Quarter the mushrooms. Remove the garlic cloves from their skins and smash with the back of a knife.

The recipe was great! Very easy to make and very easy to please the family. Great part was making a simple gravy from the stock left in the pot to go with the potatoes and carrots for sides. Only note on my end was to add more MUSHROOMS!

Recipe was simple to follow. I substituted carrots for mushrooms and it turned out great.

It was excellent. I served it with mashed potatoes and maple glazed carrots. Everyone enjoyed the meal and it is definitely going into the rotation.
