"Step 5: Add COOKED noodles." So annoying. Yes it's my fault that I didn't read the whole recipe before (scrambling to) prepare dinner. But the end result was that this cook time was way longer.

went with leaner ingredients like 93% lean beef, fat free cottage cheese, only a little spray oil and low fat cream cheese and then fat free shredded cheese fot the top and went with red lentile noodles. turned out amazing and honestly the best beef stroganoff ive ever had

Didn't need to change a thing, super easy to make, and the family loved it.

Absolutely delicious recipe as written. I can’t help but tinker with recipes though so some tweaks (more black pepper, 1/4 tsp bourbon smoked paprika and a shake of cayenne pepper) take it to the next level. Fast and easy. I’ll definitely make this again!

One of the only recipes I haven't modified and it was great as-is! We've only made this once but it is definitely going back in my Meal Planner soon! It's not "traditional" stroganoff, but it was delicious and easy to prep and cook.

It did turn out and the instructions were clear. Personally didn't find it to taste much like a classic strganoff and was pretty unhealthy while not having enough redeaming enjoyment for me. I wouldn't add this to my cycle and I wouldn't recommend it, but since I think that's largely grounded in my personal calculus, I'll give it 3/5.

My wife and kids all loved this dish and that alone warrants three stars. For my part though, I wanted to love it but I couldnt stop thinking about all the cheese and carbs. It had a fair amount of flavor but it felt like it was missing something- mushrooms maybe?

turned out very well, but I did follow suggestions in other comments. I used 2 cups of tomato sauce, and sour cream instead of cottage cheese. I also added 2 tsp. of paprika.

Tasted sort of bland for us. Will try again with sour cream instead of cottage cheese and will add more cream cheese. I also added mushrooms. oh wait.....used ground turkey and some (low sodium) beef broth.

Great!! I will definitely make this again!! The creamy sauce makes it so good!!

Great, but for added flavor I added 1½‐2 tsp garlic powder(to taste) and a huge dollop (or more to taste; almost a cup for me! 😊)of Sour Cream! Next time will add some mushrooms! SO VERY VERY GOOD!!! And I used whole pkg. of egg noodles and adjusted some ingredients to make larger casserole. Just didn't double meat and a few other ingredients... I'll have to write it down next time!

The ground beef concoction seemed bland to me. I like pepper, so I added cayenne, ground black pepper, and some onion salt, before mixing noodles in. This did it. Forehead was sweating, but it was good!

I thought it was a bit bland, but after 3 helpings, I will guess the family liked it.

It was decent overall. Like someone else mentioned, its basically homemade Hamburger Helper.

Was pretty good, going to add some more pepper to taste next time and always make sure theres a little more sauce as mine came out a bit on the dryer side and i prefer my beef stroganaf to be a little more on the sauce side. Other than that Picky eats gave it a thumbs up and will be a regular.
