Yummmm. Made this twice in the last week first time for dinner the second bc it was all gone and my husband loved it and asked me to make it again. Modified recipe due to sensitivity to certain ingredients and it was still fantastic both times.

Was great. Forgot to bring home onion and potato, so I used corn niblets and chickpeas. Very tasty. 100% recommend this. Bake some bread to dip. Liberal butter. Party on.

I used barley instead of potatoes. It thickened up the stew without using flour or starch. This tastes great. This was good to use up a bunch of frozen steaks I had, luckily they were fatty cuts and came out nice and tender. Canned a bunch and will be enjoying at work for a while.
