Overall pretty good but I thought there’d be more depth of flavor in the broth since bacon was added. It was a good recipe though 🙂

The family all raved and loved it I think it was a tad bit tart from the wine. I will definitely make again and try to balance the flavor a bit better

Very good! It was not as thick as I’d hoped it would be but still very good and not watery. Next time I might try 1/2 tsp of thyme instead, but overall still very satisfying and tasty. Meat was very tender.

Excellent... Though I didn't follow the method exactly, as I'm used to making beef stew, I used the ingredients suggested here and love it.

This stew is so good that my children call it "the special stew". My son in law works late every day but if he and my daughter know that I am making stew, he comes home early and they are at my house as fast as they can! I have made this at least 10 times now and it always turns out perfect. Thanks for the recipe!!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Have made this recipe a few times and it is amazing every time. My kids love it, get a loaf of garlic bread to dip into the broth. My husband doesn’t like soups or broths much, and he will drink this on it’s own. Wonderful recipe thanks so much for sharing!!

It was rich and hearty with a wonderful balance of flavor. I have to say that I was able to make it without a stove and oven by using my counter top induction oven and cooker. I will make this again.
