  • 2 russet potatoes (large, cut into large pieces)
  • 1 stalk celery (strictly for seasoning)
  • 2 teaspoons Italian herbs (McCormick©)
  • olive oil
  • butter
  • 1/2 cup beef broth (rich)
  • 3/4 cup red wine (I used some Pinot Noir)
