It’s fancy and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 250 grams ground beef
  • string cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter (plus a dash of olive oil)
  • 200 grams sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon pepper (chopped chile de arbol)
  • pepper
  • salt

Directions

  1. Melt the butter with the olive oil in a large frying pan.

  4. Add salt and pepper to the ground beef and make two round beef patties by hand. Place the meat on the same frying pan and completely cook both sides.
  5. Place the string cheese on top of each beef patty and allow the cheese to melt.
  6. Serve the meat on a plate and add the mushrooms on top of the melted cheese.

This savory dish is low in calories yet flavorful. I have never heard of using string cheese in a recipe, but it worked so well. It’s very good and good for you.
