Ingredients

4 eggs
120 milliliters milk (or heavy cream)
120 milliliters olive oil
175 grams all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
150 grams feta cheese (cut into cubes)
10 dried tomatoes (cut into strips)
1/2 bunch basil (chopped)

Directions

1Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
2In a bowl, whisk the eggs gradually incorporating the milk and the oil.
3In a small bowl, combine the flour and the baking powder, and add to the egg mixture.
4With a spatula, gently add the cubes of feta, the tomato strips and the chopped basil.
5Pour into a buttered loaf pan.
6Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. To check if the cake is ready to come out of the oven, use a knife. The blade should come out clean.
