I would definatley give this two stars, my first batch of cake I split into two pans thinking that they would be thicker, my cakes, when I took them out of the oven, were 1 1/4 in tall, they were so thin that I had to stack them on top of each other to get one layer. Worst recipe yet.

The cake turned out well. The recipe is enough for one 8” or 9” baking pan. If you are doing a layered cake adjust recipe accordingly.

It’s very soft, delicious, the ingredients are basic and can be found in the house. You can stuff it with frosting and/or fruits! .
