Description

Forget delivery or frozen pizza. You can make your own unique and delicious homemade pizza with this easy and very basic pizza dough. Ready in an hour, you can then add your favorite toppings and individualize your pizza to your liking. A great dinner idea for your kids, especially when they are having friends over. With just six simple ingredients, you will never want to call out for delivery pizza again.

Ingredients

  • 450 grams all-purpose flour
  • 7 grams active dry yeast (instant)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 300 milliliters warm water
  • 50 milliliters olive oil

Directions

  1. 1In a very large bowl, add a little flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. 2Using a fork, mix in the warm water until a pure forms.
  3. 3Add in the rest of the flour little by little until a bowl starts to form and pull away from the sides of the bowl.
  4. 4Knead until soft and elastic and no longer sticky.
  5. 5Form the dough into a ball and rub it with olive oil.
  6. 6Turn the oven on maximum power and line the inside rack with parchment paper.
  7. 7Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let rise 15 minutes.
  8. 8Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured work surface and knead it a few more minutes. Roll it out into a thin rectangle and transfer it onto the baking rack.
  9. 9Bake 5 to 10 minutes until the dough starts to bubble and is lightly golden.
