Kind of dry with little flavor, next time I would add more salt and butter.

Easy to make. I like the fact that you don't have to have buttermilk for this recipe. I've made these several times and they've been great each time!

I’ve made this many times! Like the recipe. Just not sure if it’s supposed to be this moist, a bit difficult when cutting them into shape.

It’s been a long arduous journey in my quest to find biscuits that I can make correctly. This recipe is the perfect example of a simple easy to follow biscuit recipe perfect for biscuits and gravy. I will make these again.

they turned out a little bitter which I wasn't expecting but still pretty good (probably my fault), would definitely eat for a breakfast.

Good flavor and texture. I brushes them with garlic butter after baking.

The biscuits were very good even though I messed up a little bit . I accidentally used tablespoons instead of teaspoons lol. They were a little salty but actually came out fine. They were also a little thick . Soaked up a lot of country gravy . But I will use this recipe again but with proper measurements.

Turned out awesome. Son loved it and he is picky

Tried it with some modifications. Well, a lot of modifications tbh, lol. I used whole grain white flour and sunflower seed oil instead of the recommended. I also listened to the goddess of herbs inside of me and added a sprinkle of dried thyme, a dash of nutmeg and ground cardamom. It's one of the simplest yet most efficient baking recipes I've ever tried! Will definitely repeat (may be with 'real' buttermilk or greek yogurt next time).

These are my favorite biscuits! Today with a few minor cooking adjustments, they tasted good, they were flaky, and golden brown. I baked them for 10 minutes at 410’. Thank you!

I live in China so most recipes do not work for me (no buttermilk, normal milk, or shortening). So I have not made biscuits in two years....so sad as a Southerner!! I used wheat flour, stronger white vinegar, and shelf stable milk for this. It turned out very well. Very happy with the results!

Tastes great, looks great. I only recommend a lot less milk or a lot more flour. I had to put my biscuits in a cupcake pan in order for them to bake
