- 1 1/2 cups sugar (for syrup)
- vegetable oil (for pan)
- all purpose flour (for pan)
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar (for cake)
- 1 Tbsp. rose water (buy at your local grocery store or online)
- 1 1/4 cups farina (soft wheat semolina flour, NOT durum wheat semolina)
- 1 1/8 cups all purpose flour (1/8 cup equals 2 Tbsp., for batter)
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup pistachios (coarsely ground)
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk (canned)
- Fresh berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries)
- 2 Tbsp. Grand Marnier
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 pinch granulated sugar (for berries)
- whipped cream
- fresh mint (for garnish, optional)
