Ingredients

  • 150 grams onions
  • 40 grams olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons paprika (spicy)
  • 100 grams whisky
  • 250 grams tomato sauce
  • 50 grams lemon juice
  • 100 grams sherry vinegar
  • 80 grams honey
  • 15 grams cane syrup
  • 70 grams worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Mince the onion and saute in the oil until soft. Add the paprika and stir.
  2. Add the whiskey, tomato sauce, lemon juice, vinegar, honey, cane syrup, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.
  3. Puree in a blender until smooth and return to the pan. Cook for 20-25 minutes, until thickened.
  4. Taste for seasoning and adjust as needed.
