I love this recipe except I make a couple of changes.... I use apple cider vinegar in place of the sherry, I also sprinkle some liquid smoke on the ribs, and I use enough BBQ sauce to coat all of the standing ribs on both sides (about a bottle or so).

Standing the ribs up while cooking let all the juices and sauce fall to the bottom. Essentially, the ribs cooked without any sauce on them. I had to lay them down flat in the crock pot, but the sauce was so thin it did not stick to the ribs. I would suggest a different recipe when cooking crock pot ribs.

Easy and delicious! Meat fell right off the bone

This was sooooooo good! The meat came right off the bone. My husband, who doesn't like ribs, liked this. It was just too good. I served it with corn on the cob, buns, and mash potatoes and it was just all around a great meal. There were only leftovers because we were too full
