Ingredients

  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (medium, cut into strips.)
  • 1/2 chile pepper (chipotle, marinated rough chopped)
  • jalapeno peppers (chopped)

Directions

  1. Add tomato sauce, vinegar, honey, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and onion powder in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the chicken and peppers and mix well, coating the chicken pieces completely.
  3. Place the pot on the stove and cook on medium-low heat for 25 minutes. Cook until the chicken becomes softened.

I make this recipe every time my sons come home from college. They invite all their friends for barbeque chicken tacos and Mexican lemonade. Good food and good times!
