Love the flavor combination of sweet and salty? Look no further than this dairy free, sugar free, vegan recipe for Banana and Peanut Butter Ice cream. Made with just three ingredients, this ice cream is an incredibly healthy alternative to anything you will find in the ice cream aisle at your local grocery store. All that is needed are bananas, peanut butter, peanuts, and a blender! Be sure to use bananas that have been frozen for at least 4 hours, overnight is even better.

Ingredients

4 bananas (frozen)
1 tablespoon peanut butter
peanuts (to taste)

Directions

1Cut 4 very ripe bananas and freeze for 4 hours, or overnight.
2Place the frozen bananas in the food processor or blender. Use the metal blade in the food processor. Turn on the pulse button, and leave on until the bananas become creamy.
3Add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, or chocolate/chocolate chips, and stir some more.
4To serve, garnish with peanuts.
