Ingredients

  • 450 grams dark chocolate
  • 200 grams butter
  • 4 bananas (ripe, mashed)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Mix the butter and dark chocolate in a small bowl, heat it in the microwave, stopping every 30 seconds to stir until it's completely melted and mixed.
  3. Mix the eggs and bananas in a large bowl.
  4. Add the sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder to the bowl and mix.
  5. Add the melted chocolate and stir until everything is completely mixed.
  6. Place a layer of parchment paper on a deep wide cooking tray and pour the chocolate mixture.
  7. Bake for 1 hour, and then turn off the oven, let it sit for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, let it cool off completely, and serve.

Give this recipe a chance. It sounds different, but tastes really good. I would make these again with a cream cheese frosting. They also taste great used in an ice cream dessert. Cut them into cubes, and slice up some fresh bananas and strawberries. Put them in dishes or tall glasses, and add a scoop of ice cream and some chocolate syrup. They taste fantastic as brownie parfaits.
