This was great and simple! I have always turned ripe bananas into banana bread. This was my first time using a bread machine. I will keep using this recipe for making my banana bread! So yummy, fast, and easy!! Thanks!

This was a quick and easy recipe that is an easy and yummy way to use up extra bananas. Nice and plain banana bread sure to please. Want a little more umph? Add some cinnamon and vanilla.

Quick, simple and tasty. I will make this again and again. You may want to check your own bread machine’s programming. I used ‘Bake Rapid’ to mix the bread, as my machine ‘rests’ for 30-50 minutes before mixing on the ‘dough’ programme. I also had to manually select the time on my bake only programme.

I made it yesterday in my bread machine. But I modified the recipe. I ADDED: 1 tsp Vanilla, 1 Tbs Rum, 1/8 tsp of Molasses, 1 1/2 tsp Salt, 1 3/4 tsp Baking Powder ONLY (No Baking Soda), 1/4 Cup Flour, 1/4 Cup Raisins. Bake it in the bread machine for 1 hr. The top was not browning, was raw, too moist. Failed the toothpick test. So I Preheated my oven, then removed the bread from the pan using my Spatula and wrapped around it with double aluminum foil (made a foil pan). Set it in double tin sheet (2 tin sheets). Bake it at 350 Degrees for 20 Minutes on the top rack (away from direct heat). Did the Toothpick test, came out clean. I let it cool for 20 minutes in the foil wrap. Sliced it. Crispy Crust. So Delicious. I LOVE IT! I hope you try it sometime.

I made this recipe and it took much longer (with the brand of bread machine I have). It was nice that it wasn't an overly sweet recipe. I am going to make this into banana bread french toast,in the morning. Everyone here enjoyed this recipe. I DID tweak it with a tsp of real vanilla,a half cup of chopped pecans and a dash of salt. Next time I make it,I am going to try putting chocolate chips in it. Thanks.
