This was delicious; however it was so high in calories and fat, I adjusted ingredients a bit and it still tasted amazing!! My husband and I loved it! I dropped sharp cheddar cheese from 2 cups to just 1 cup Omitted bacon Dropped sour cream from 1 1/2 down to 1 cup. ! Total adjusted Calories per serving: 570 Original Calories per recipe: 739

For my first wack at it, this came out amazing! My wife, at this moment, is about to serve herself a second helping! Thank you so much for this recipe.

We liked this recipe a lot. Next time I will use 2-3 more potatoes since I like a chunkier soup but other than that, the recipe is delicious as is .

AMAZING! I had trouble at first with the potatoes because they weren't soft enough, but after cooking them a little longer in the microwave, everything turned out perfectly! Very delicious!

Yes, yes yes, yes, YES. All of the yeses. My 9 year old loves potato anything and asked for some cheesy potato soup since I've clearly been depriving her of potatoes ha! So naturally, I jump on Yummly and look for recipes. I think this was the first or second recipe so I went back to it and saved to head to the store. I was able to make it with no issues and it's AMAZING. No lie. I did add in some cubed organic Yukon Gold potatoes (only 1 1/2 or two). Perfect. I'm amazed. Even knowing I would be in pain after eating (ulcer), I had two servings. The pain is worth it 100% 😂

This is a most wonderful potato soup and so easy to cook in crock pot! Thanks! 5 star rating. I will be using this recipe a lot to serve my bridge group of 8 people in the future! Other than chopping the potatoes it is a wonderful soup.
