They turned out great, I’ve made them twice, With a couple modifications. First I baked them on a baking rack, so that they could crisp up on the bottom. Secondly I didn’t use butter (wanted to cut down on some calories) i sprayed them with olive oil. Lastly I didn’t have buttermilk on hand, so I made my own with 1 cup of almond milk and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.

came out terribly. Cornflakes make for a terrible breading.

Was too dry and not crispy enough for my liking but I would definitely try again. I will probably use the pan to fry it with minimal oil.

Not bad. It wasn't as crispy as i anticipated, this would probably be better fried and with additional seasoning.

This is a great and quick recipe. It is easy to make and hard to mess up. I would recommend some extra spices depending on how tolerant to spicy you are. I personally added about a tablespoon of paprika and cumin powder.

I ended up needing to use more buttermilk, crumbs and cheese than in the recipe but I used larger tenders and used nonfat cooking spray in place of butter and it worked well. It was a big hit with my family I have a very picky eater and he’s asked for it 5 times now more than any other recipe. It’s a great dish!
