I have made this recipe for over 40 yrs except I add an egg to the milk and a 1/2 tsp of sugar I layer cheese, macaroni and butter and salt and pepper to taste then I pour the mixed egg and milk and sugar over it sprinkle lightly with paprika to make it pretty and bake 350 for one hour I have added different kinds of cheese, cream, cheddar and pepper jack mixed is great too mm mm good
