The taste was OKAY. The only saving grace was the amount of seasoning you put. I used salt, pepper, paprika, fresh lime juice and tapatillo hot sauce. I’ve never had a baked avocado, so the consistency was a bit funky at first. When I first cracked the egg into the hole, it only held the yolk and the rest just oozed all over the place (it was not pretty). I basically removed half of the avocado for it to even hold a tiny bit of the egg white. You either need way bigger avocados or use 1 egg for 2 avocados. What I think would be easier is to whip your eggs before hand in a separate bowl and then pour. Baking was quick, easy and done in about 15-20 minutes. The egg you see above the avocado was in the muffin mold under my avocado from the spill (had a lot of those). Once again, it was tasty only because of all the seasoning I used. It is full of protein and good fats but I wouldn’t make this again.

Heat took most of the great flavor normally associated with a crease avocado and rendered it blah. Recommend a pan over oven. It's faster and I likely retains the taste of both the avocado and a soft egg. Do not recommend this approach to two great foods - egg and avocados

Delicious! I seasoned it with salt, pepper, paprika, and hot sauce. It turned out really flavorful. My only complaint would be that the avocado doesn't really hold too much of the egg white (just the yolk) so you lose a lot of the egg. It's a little messy. I would recommend getting larger avocados so this doesn't end up happening.

Super easy to make and super delicious! I don't even like avocados that much, but this worked very well together. Once I got the avocados out of the oven, I also squeezed some fresh lemon juice over again for an extra kick. So fresh and good. ❤️

It was amazing! I had a problem with the eggs as well. Overall it was delicious. My family and friends loved this recipe.

I like this recipe! Although, this first time, I baked a little too long and got the eggs well done, nearly hard boiled. I think I would like it even better with "runny" eggs.

I love avocados but this was disappointing. Had a very odd taste. I may try again with different flavor.
