Description

With only four ingredients, 35-minutes prep time and 100 calories per serving, these flavorful baked cinnamon wraps are perfect as an appetizer at a dinner party, a after-school snack or dessert with any dinner. Pick your favorite soft bread, cut off the crust, brush with butter and add the cinnamon and sugar mix. Once baked, add more of the cinnamon and sugar mix and sit back and enjoy the crispy sweet treat!

Ingredients

  • powdered sugar (to taste)
  • ground cinnamon
  • butter (to taste)
  • sliced bread (without the crust)

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. 2In a bowl, mix the sugar with the cinnamon, and set aside.
  3. 3Melt the butter in the microwave, set aside.
  4. 4Using the rolling pin, carefully mash the slices of bread until they are very thin.
  5. 5Brush the bread slices with the melted butter.
  6. 6Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  7. 7Roll up the slices of bread, and place on an ungreased baking tray.
  8. 8Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until crispy on the outside.
  9. 9Remove from oven, and let cool.
  10. 10Roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture.
