  • 8 ounces camembert (rounds of, can substitute brie)
  • 5 onions (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • 2 apples (cored and diced)
  • 2 tablespoons dried thyme
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 4 sprigs flat leaf parsley (finely chopped)
  • fresh thyme (for garnish)

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Place the cheese on a baking sheet and bake for 10 mins.
    2. In a bowl, mix the onions, apples and dried thyme. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion mixture, stirring, for 2 mins. Season to taste. Stir in the honey.
    3. Remove the cheese from the oven and spread with the onion mixture. Sprinkle with parsley and garnish with thyme.
